How a random intro led to a HUGE realization about entrepreneurship...

The real reason I started Founders Club (plus new vlog drop!)

Hey everyone!

November is finally here…

And with 2025 just around the corner, I’ve been reflecting on how much can change in a month.

My biggest takeaway?

Well, October was all about pushing my limits…

And I set a HUGE goal of doing…

10,000 pull-ups in 30 days!

This challenge was BRUTAL… especially at the start.

So many people doubted I could even get close…

But that just fired me up even more.

And now, after doing it for 30 days straight…

It’s WILD to think how 500 pull-ups almost feels effortless.

Makes you wonder what else seems possible until you start chipping away at it.

BTW: I just posted my 4th vlog on YouTube it would mean a ton if you checked that out…

It’s probably one of the most personal ones yet. I take you through a full day in Toronto - from crushing a podcast to some real talk in the car, all the way to the EY Entrepreneur Awards where I ran into someone who changed my LIFE. Catch the New Episode Here!

How did I pull it off?

Looking back at this challenge, it wasn't just about physical strength...

It really came down to the same two principles that have fueled every success I’ve achieved.

An UNWAVERING mindset (want to dive deeper into this? Read “why comfort is killing your business” to learn how I build mental toughness) and surrounding myself with people who push me higher.

We’ve all heard the saying “You're the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with…”

But I believe it's one of the greatest secrets to achieving success in entrepreneurship and a BIG reason I was able to complete this challenge.

Speaking of Mentors…

The same week I finished this challenge, I ran into someone at the EY Awards who reminded me how important it is to have people in your life who believe in you, even when you’re not sure you believe in yourself yet.

Back in 2019, when my co-founder and I were at the beginning stages of selling Hush, we got invited to a Jewish fundraising event…

I was 25 at the time, diving into a world I had never navigated before…

We ended up winning best pitch, and a guy came up to us and said,

“You’ve got to meet my friend.”

We went with it, but that friend turned out to be Stuart Lazier  President of Sleep Country Canada.

(I literally had no idea it was him until he made us google who he was during our first Zoom call 😂)

But Stu saw something in us - two young founders scaling from $700K to $10M...

And through the most INTENSE six months of my life - negotiating Hush's $48M acquisition - he showed me what it means to really have someone in your corner.

He taught me so much about leadership and how to truly empower others…

And seeing him again at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards reminded me how lonely entrepreneurship can feel, but how having the right mentor transforms everything.

That's exactly why I created the Founders Club.

Because no entrepreneur should face those 3AM struggles alone.

You deserve a community that's been there…

People who've walked through the fire…

Who understand your journey…

And can say "I've got you - here's what worked for me."

Sometimes, having someone who's walked the path before you makes all the difference.

What do you think?

Hit reply and let me know who’s been the biggest influence on your journey — I love hearing from you :)

P.S. My good friend Ben (A LinkedIn Wizard 🧙🏻‍♂️) just wrote his first newsletter. If you want to learn how to grow on LinkedIn trust me he is your guy. Check it out here
